Coral Reef Champions Circle of Volunteers

As part of the CRC project, the Circle of Volunteers was formed to harness the talents and resources of students, and young professionals in generating financial and technical support as well as public awareness for the Community Based Coastal Resource Management (CB-CRM). The CRC cirlce of volunteers allows young men and women to gain environmental awareness and experience while working to promote enviornmental causes. They are also able to indirectly participate in the process of the sustainable management and protection of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems.

The Circle of Volunteers began on the same year as the launching of the CRC Project. It was assisted by the Ateneo de Manila University's Social Science Circle (SSC) who fielded members to serve as volunteers. The main tasks of the Circle of Volunteers was assistance to the launching of the CRC as well as providing potential donors to the CRC.
