Support to Alternative Livelihood Project

The "Support to Alternative Livelihood Project", funded by the German Doctors, Inc. complements the Community-Based Coastal Resource Management (CB-CRM) efforts of the Institute. The project aims to provide the fishermen with other sources of income that would supplement their earnings from fishing and divert their productive efforts away from endangered marine resources. In this way, fishing pressure will be reduced to enable the fishing grounds to regenerate.
